Product Introduction:

　　The LOUDA explosion-proof chiller is a specialized chiller manufactured by LOUDA, primarily used in hazardous environments such as flammable and explosive areas. Its capacity ranges from 0.5 kW to 500 kW and can be customized to meet customer requirements. Custom-made upon request. All components of the chiller unit are manufactured in accordance with national explosion-proof standards. The explosion-proof and corrosion-resistant master control unit complies with GB 3836.1-2000 “General Requirements for Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Atmospheres” and IEC standards. The explosion-proof rating is designed in accordance with national environmental explosion-proof standards and can meet the specific requirements of various customers.

Performance Features:

　　LOUDA explosion-proof units are equipped with high‑quality, imported hermetically sealed scroll or semi‑hermetic twin‑screw compressors. Their moving parts account for only one‑tenth of those in reciprocating compressors, and their vibration levels are just one‑fifth of the latter. No foundation mounting is required. With a failure rate just one-tenth that of reciprocating compressors, and equipped with world-class control components, the unit is guaranteed to operate safely and reliably over the long term.

　　LOUDA explosion-proof units provide comprehensive protection across the refrigerant system, electrical system, and water system, fully ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the unit. The compressor motor is protected against overheating, overcurrent, and phase sequence abnormalities, With safeguards against low oil level, low pressure, and high pressure, the unit employs advanced PLC control technology, truly enabling one‑button start-up and fully automatic operation—without any manual intervention.

　　LOUDA explosion-proof units, through the combination of various compressors, offer a range of models with cooling capacities from 10 to 460 RT; custom configurations are also available upon request.

Friendly reminder:

1. Safe operating range of the unit: chilled water inlet temperature –10°C to +20°C;

2. The minimum operating outlet water temperature of the unit is –10°C; when the outlet water temperature drops to ≤5°C, an appropriate amount of antifreeze should be added.

3. At a water outlet temperature of -5°C, the cooling capacity decreases by 38%; at -10°C, the cooling capacity decreases by 50%.

4. When R407C refrigerant is used, the unit’s cooling capacity decreases by approximately 5%, and its power consumption decreases by about 5%; when R134a refrigerant is used, the unit’s cooling capacity decreases by roughly 34%, and its power consumption decreases by approximately 36%.
